We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides therapy services to clients and works collaboratively with staff involved in the care and treatment of clients.

This is an in-person position located in Port Hueneme, California. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $2,000 for a Level I and $5,000 for a Level II.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide individual and group therapy
• Conduct psychosocial and functional assessments for assigned clients
• Actively participate in the multi-disciplinary team process by providing and sharing with the Program Director and other team members information that contributes to/positively impacts the overall plan of treatment for the client
• Complete Discharge Planning Progress Notes and Discharge Summary in a timely manner
• Timely document client chart in accordance with documentation guidelines
• Level II Additional duties: provide supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/ Experience:

• Level I - $90,000 per year - eligible for $2,000 sign on bonus
  • Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences required
  • Masters degree in psychology, counseling, marriage & family counseling or social work required
  • Two years experience in a mental health and/or chemical dependency setting preferred
  • Experience dealing with clients and documentation in a hospital and/or mental health facility required
• Level II Additional Qualifications - $95,000 per year and eligible for $5,000 sign on bonus
  • Meet and maintain all applicable California requirements to be a supervisor of Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors
  • Possess a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Practiced psychotherapy during at least two years out of the last five years, OR provided direct supervision to ACSWs, AMFTs, or APCCs who perform psychotherapy during at least two years out of the last five years prior to the commencement of supervision
  • Completed a minimum of 15 hours of specified supervision training within 60 days of the commencement of supervision and six hours of continuing professional development in supervision each renewal cycle thereafter
