Role

• You will serve as the in-charge accountant for a variety of assurance department services (audits, reviews, and compilations) from start to finish
• You will work with clients in a variety of industries to meet their various financial statement needs.  We have a large expertise in the real estate industry; however, we also serve manufacturers, distributors, professional service firms, and other industries.
• You will provide technical accounting expertise to both clients and other members of the team on a variety of accounting issues
• You will provide guidance and training to new members of the assurance team

Responsibilities

• Regular and friendly interaction with clients and other members of the team
• Effective time and project management to ensure client deadlines are met
• Ensure the overall qualify of engagements by meeting both professional and firm standards

Skills and Expertise

• 2+ busy seasons serving as an in-charge accountant for audit and/or review engagements a plus
• CPA or CPA eligible
• Experience with CCH Engagement or similar engagement software
• Experience with PPC Checkpoint or similar methodology
• Experience providing financial statement services to closely-held entities
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and Outlook
